Welcome to Teign View Gymnastics Club. We are a small recreational gymnastics club from Teignmouth, Devon. We train on Wednesdays from 4.00pm to 9.00pm at Broadmeadow Sports Centre in Teignmouth.
The club has been running as a club for over 35 years.
Tracey Morey TVGC's Head coach trained with Broadmeadow Gym Club (TVGC previous name) and took over the running of the club in 2002.
The club have classes catering for children from 5 years old to young adults.
The gymnasts are moved to through different classes according to ability, at the coaches discretion and if class sizes allow.
We are members of British Gymnastics (BG) and are also members of Devon Amateur Gymnastics Association (DAGA).
In March 2009 we held our recreational competition again with nearly 300 entrants.
We have an excellent coaching team, with all our coaches qualified in accordance with the governing body requirements.
The club is managed on a day to day basis by our head coach, who in turn is overseen by the committee.
The clubs aim is to provide gymnastics to children in a safe environment. All the coaching staff are qualified British Gymnastics coaches and have been screened to ensure their suitability to work with children.
The club offers a wide range of classes according to the age and ability of the gymnast. The classes are recreational, with the gymnasts using a variety of apparatus. All our classes are run in accordance with the British Gymnastics guidelines and are regularly monitored by the clubs Head Coach.
The club has both male and female coaches who will work with the children in the sessions.
As a parent / guardian we value the support and commitment that you give and we actively encourage two way communication so that we can offer your children an effective training programme and make their time with the club an enjoyable experience. We also welcome any time or involvement you may be able to offer the club yourself e.g. fundraising, committee membership, coaching and judging.
